Dele Adeyemo, A Dance of the Mangroves “A Dance of the Mangroves” is a project by Dele Adeyemo, a Scottish artist of Nigerian origin.

It shows the effectiveness of carbon sequestration by mangrove forests that surround the city of Lagos in Nigeria.

Mangrove forests play an essential role in this respect.

However, they are neither wholly terrestrial nor aquatic, but their effectiveness in capturing carbon and transforming it is proven.

He, therefore, sees it as one of the ways to escape our destiny by using ecosystems such as mangroves to fight global warming.
