Egypt “Nilab, the Nile as a laboratory” Venice International Architecture Biennale

Egypt, Nilab, the Nile as a laboratory, Venice International Architecture Biennale
Egypt, Nilab
Water has always been closely linked to a civilisation's history and culture.

The importance of water and waterways in the history of Egyptian civilisation is even more vital and decisive than anywhere else.

Optimising waterways in a country like Egypt has become even more essential today, whether for agriculture, production systems, or cities' growing needs.

In collaboration with the department of the Mediterranean University of the Calabria region, the Ain-Shams Faculty in Cairo has created a laboratory for the study of the Nile called Nilab.
