Artist Outi Pieski collaborated on the exhibition “A Greater Miracle of Perception” at the Finland Pavilion at the Venice Art Biennale 2019.

His work, which refers to the culture of the Arctic region, combines the craft traditions of the Duodji with contemporary art.

His work “Forewalkers” aims to go beyond borders through walking.

His message is addressed explicitly to the Sàpmi cultural region, which has lost its original unity and is now part of the following four countries: Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia.
