Genuine Friulians or “Furlane” in Venice

Genuine Friulian women (or Furlane in the plural in Venetian, there's even a Calle de le Furlane in Venice's District du Castello) are now becoming increasingly rare.

Fortunately, Alessandra and Renato continue this tradition in Venice, still having the famous friulane made for them by several families from Friuli.

In addition to the real Friulians, you'll also find more sophisticated models in silk or velvet.
