Traghetto in Venice
Traghetto is used to cross the Grand Canal in Venice. It is a Gondola with two rowers and you stand up into it.It will cost you 2 € per person.
Traghetto is closed on: 25th and 26th of dicembre, 1st January, 15th august. On the 24th and 31st dicembre, the traghetto service stops at 13:00.
You can use the following stations to cross the Grand Canal with Traghetto:
San Stefano / San Toma'
1st October to 31st March: from 7:30 to 18:30
1st April to 30th September: from 7:30 to 19:00
Ferrovia / S. Simeone
from 8:00 to 14:00 (closed on Sunday)
Riva del Carbon / Riva del Vin
from 8:00 to 14:00 (closed on Sunday)
San Marco (Giardini Reale) / Dogana da Mar
from 9:00 to 14:00
Santa Maria del Giglio / Salute
1st October to 31st March: from 9:00 to 17:00
1st April to 30th September: from 9:00 to 18:00
San Sofia / Pescheria
1st October to 31st March: from 7:30 to 18:30
1st April to 30th September: from 7:30 to 19:00
