In Sestiere of Santa Croce, in Calle Large dei Bari, at number 1160, you will find Gelateria Alaska easily recognizable by his multicolored signage.
It is a small, stand alone booth, where you eat standing up, but ices are sublime.
Try the ice in the ginger (if you like the ginger, of course), it is divine! And furthermore, the owner is very, very personable.
